ORS is a prominent Irish multidisciplinary building consultancy serving over 400 customers. The firm offers expert services in design, planning and management within civil and structural engineering, health and safety management, building surveying and energy efficiency.
ORS business has a multidisciplinary service offering, providing customers with multiple services from one source, helping to simplify their projects. While this adds huge value to ORS customers, it posed its own challenges for the ORS sales team. With no CRM system, each team had their own operating spreadsheet for their 10 different departments, resulting in pipelines being managed in silo’s.
“We had operational bottlenecks. We just didn’t have a single view,” explains Damian Kenny, ORS Commercial Manager. ORS needed to simplify and improve how they worked, and decided to transition their sales operations to Salesforce. But they needed a partner to guide then on their journey, an experienced consultant to support them.
ORS sought a hands-on partner to migrate their sales operations to Salesforce. They needed someone that could work closely with them, plan exactly what they needed, and deliver a unique solution. Leaning into our deep Salesforce expertise, we helped move their current business from spreadsheets to the cloud, tailoring Salesforce applications to suit the specific needs of the ORS business.
ORS now views all projects and sales updates in real-time. At the click of a button, each member of the team can clearly see what has been paid, not paid, project status, track activity and much more, all in one place. The modified, tailored CRM has powered a much more efficient and streamlined sales process. In time, ORS plan on replacing older legacy systems in their business and transitioning all remaining operations to Salesforce.
“We have bought a world class tool. The best in the market as far as I can see. No matter what we might face, Prodigy will be able to adapt our system to ensure we continue to succeed.”
– Damian Kenny, Commercial Manager, ORS
