Job Description
Prodigy is a leading consulting firm specializing in Salesforce implementation and customization. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce development, as well as excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
As the Salesforce Development Manager, you will work on the most complex projects, collaborating closely with clients and guiding a team of developers onsite in our Cavan office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, analyze complex problems, and design innovative Salesforce solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead the development and implementation of custom Salesforce solutions, including but not limited to Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and integrations with external systems.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and maintainability.
- Provide hands-on development support, taking ownership of the most challenging aspects of Salesforce projects and driving them to successful completion
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends, and proactively recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering their technical growth and helping them build their Salesforce expertise.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and hire top Salesforce development talent, ensuring the team’s skills and capabilities continue to grow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and design patterns.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Salesforce projects on time and within budget.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role, with a focus on mentoring and developing junior developers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and design effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified App Builder are highly desirable.
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic consulting environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
